1989 Release of Disney's The Little Mermaid.
The Little Mermaid was first released to theaters on November 17, 1989. Only a few days before Thanksgiving by Walt Disney Enterprises. We graduated from CCHS in late May, 1989, about 6 months before the film was first shown. But what show it was.
1986 - Freshmen at Central Cambria
We were freshmen at Central Cambria in 1986. So were the California Raisins. When their career was launched in 1986 it was thought they would be a one hit wonder. That one song catapulted them into stardom, more records and big screen and little screen productions. Their claymation [Will Vinton] made them one of the most popular TV commercial spots for the next four years. Remember? Here's their story in 3 - 10 minute videos.
